He leaves behind his loving wife, Ann, and their children Trevor (Jennifer), and Keri (Ashton). His beloved and adored grandchildren, Ella, Adele, Olivia, and Tyson. As well as his “granddog” Wendell.
He will be greatly missed by his siblings, Linda (Doug), Donna (Ken), Lorna (Gunner), and Ken (Kathy). Fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Rae was “the goat,” his strength showed from his ability to maintain a perfect attendance record while working at GM, through to his power walking while midst a heart attack and broken wrist. He had a passion for fishing, loved the cottage, the outdoors and an avid cribbage player.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that friends and family make donations to either the Diabetes Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
A celebration of life for Rae will be held Saturday, September 13, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Oshawa Funeral Home, 847 King Street West, NULL, Oshawa, ON L1J2L4.
