Ken Zhijian Yang passed away in Calgary on September 29, 2026, at the age of 58. Born in Guangzhou, China, he built and operated restaurants in Vancouver, Calgary, and Edmonton and is remembered for his work ethic, practical nature, humour, and love of travel.
Ken is survived by his wife, Quincy; his sons Andrew, Anthony, and Ricky; his parents, Yuechang Liu and Shequan Yang; and his siblings Albert and Bonnie.
