Passed away peacefully on April 26, 2025 at the Oak Ridges Hospice in Port Perry, at the age of 93. Loving mother of Brent (Narcisa) and Cindy (John). Proud grandma of Paytra (Anthony) and Kendra and great-grandmother of Everlee. She will be sadly missed by her extended family and friends.

The family would like to thank all the staff at The Oak Ridges Hospice for their compassion and care. As per Edith’s wishes, cremation will take place and a private interment at Resthaven Cemetery will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her name to Canadian Cancer Society-Lung Cancer or Diabetes Canada would be greatly appreciated.
