It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of John Klempner, beloved father, grandfather, friend, and colleague, who passed away peacefully at the age of 74 on December 25, 2024.
John leaves behind his three sons, Neil (wife Lisa), Marty, and Ryan, his two sisters, Beverly and Janet, along with his cherished five grandchildren: Madden, Rhys, Beckett, Brooke, and Cooper.
John’s love for the Detroit Lions and Michigan Wolverines was a significant part of his life. He attended countless games and proudly shared those experiences with friends and family. One of his most memorable moments was taking his kids to the Rose Bowl in 2004.
A kind and loving man, John touched the lives of all who knew him with his warmth and generosity. His memory will live on through his family and all who were fortunate to call him a friend.
The family will be holding a visitation at Families First Funeral Home, located at 3260 Dougall Ave in Windsor, ON, on January 2, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in John’s name to the Huntington Society of Canada.
John will be deeply missed, but his legacy will continue to inspire those who loved him.
