Passed away at the age of 91 on July 23rd, 2025. Reunited with her loving husband John. Proud mother of Arthur (Darlene). Cherished grandmother to Paul (Joanna) and Dave (Amanda), and great-grandmother to Lucas, Blake, Owen, and Carter. Reunited with her parents Otto and Bertha Dröse (nee Viergutz), and her 10 siblings.
Born in Germany, Hannchen was a devoted nurse at Windsor’s Hotel-Dieu Grace Hospital for 39 years. Her compassion went hand-in-hand with her devout Catholic faith, and she acted as a Eucharistic Minister and Sacristan during her life.
Arrangements entrusted to Windsor Chapel Funeral Home – Central Chapel (519-253-7234). Visitation to take place on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at Our Lady of the Atonement Parish (2940 Forest Glade Dr.) from 9:30am until time of Funeral Mass at 10am. Burial to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery (5005 Howard Ave).
