Unexpectedly passed away on September 11, 2025 at her home, at the age of 48.
Loving mother of Josephine and Xavier. Beloved daughter of Carmelo and Raphaela and dear sister of Roseann. Laverne will be sadly missed by her many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Laverne was a dedicated Early Childhood Educator who touched countless lives. Outside of her career, she loved spending time with her cherished cats, she also enjoyed Halloween and the spirit of the season. She had a lifelong passion for reading, finding joy and comfort in many the multiple books she read.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 26, 2025 from 10-11:30 a.m. at Armstrong Funeral Home (124 King St. E., Oshawa, ON). A Memorial Service will follow in the Chapel at 11:30 a.m.
