It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Shelley Ann Leaman, 61 years of age, of LaSalle, Ontario on July 13, 2025, taken much too soon after an aggressive battle with cancer. Shelley is survived by her cherished daughter Ainslee Danyluk. She is predeceased by the love of her life, Glenn Boots (2019), with whom she shared a passion for NASCAR, curling, and cheering on the Leafs.
Shelley was born to Beverly (2021) and George (2021) Leaman in Kitchener, Ontario. She leaves behind a close and loving family, including siblings Michele (Gary Fera), Gay-Anne (Jonathan Dietzel), and David Leaman (Kathy); sister-in-law Laurel (Jim Adkin) and brother-in-law Brian Boots (Joanne). She will be greatly missed by her nieces and nephews Greg, Carly, Kevin, Alex, Justin, Macy, Andrew, Nicole, Paige, Ian, Rob, Lisa, Nathan, Michelle, Marly, and Blade; and great-nieces and nephews Rowan, Zoey, Zach, Nick, and Lowen.
For the past 5 years, Shelley lovingly cared for her mother-in-law Faye Boots. Shelley enjoyed Christmas baking, pie crust days, Monday pool days, trips to the cottage with her sisters and cousins Kim and Carol, and visits with Debbie. She treasured every family holiday gathering.
A graduate of Amherst High School (1983), Shelley worked at several Windsor hospitals and cherished her Croydon Road neighborhood community. A passionate gardener, she took great pride in her home and was known for sharing her fresh produce.
She will be welcomed with open arms by Glenn, her parents Beverly and George, and her loyal pets who were always by her side.
Special thanks to Myja and the staff at St. Elizabeth, and to the Windsor Regional Hospital team—especially Trish and Denise—for their care and compassion.
If you so desire, memorial donations may be made to The St. Elizabeth Foundation or The Humane Society of Windsor & Essex County. Cremation has taken place and a private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
