WATSON, Leslie Willard – Surrounded by family at the Ottawa Civic Hospital on Friday, September 4, 2026 at the age of 78 years.
Les Watson of Petawawa, beloved husband of Cheryl Watson (nee Morgan). Loving father of Wendy Kuehl (Steve), Mark Watson, & Cathy Watson (Andy). Best Freakin' Grampy Ever to Tanner & Callie Kuehl, Ari Fraser, and Carter & Spencer Watson. He will be dearly missed by extended families in both Ontario & New Brunswick, especially by his cousins Donald & Phillip Saunders. He was a father figure to many foster children over the years.
Les enjoyed life to the fullest. He loved to hunt and fish, spend time with his family, and socialize with everyone while out and about. He will be missed terribly.
As per Les's wishes, cremation has taken place. For everyone who knew and loved Les, a Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, September 12, 2026 between 1 and 4pm at the home of Les & Cheryl Watson – 7 Gutzman Road, Petawawa, Ontario. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Pembroke Regional Hospital in his memory.

For everyone who knew and loved Les, a Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, September 12, 2026 between 1 and 4pm at the home of Les & Cheryl Watson - 7 Gutzman Road, Petawawa, Ontario.
