It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Twila Ann Linden on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at Quinte Health Care North Hastings Hospital, with her loving family by her side.

Twila was a production coordinator for CBC for many years. She retired in 1996 due to health reasons. She was a force to be reckoned with, but a beacon of light all in one. She loved deeply, always had a smile on her face, and her love for life was something to be admired.

A true Toronto Maple Leafs fan, she never missed a game. She was also an avid reader and loved to gamble—Casino Rama was her happy place.

Twila was predeceased by her father Hubert, her mother Phyllis, her brother Richard, and her niece Rhonda.

She was a loving life partner to Lorraine Lumley for 30 years, a devoted mother to Shawna Lumley (Courtney), and a loving Gram to her grandchildren Dante and Kaela.

Twila was the loving sister to her brother Randy (Sylvie), and a cherished aunt and great-aunt to Jason Linden, Sherri Linden, and to the little ones Dexter, Bentley, Brooklyn, Nathan, Bryson, and Rhonda’s daughter Adrianna.

Twila will be deeply missed by all her family and many friends.

As per Twila’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation has taken place.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to The Kidney Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
