While heartbroken by the passing yet grateful for a full life well lived, the Lindsay family announces that Margaret Anne entered her rest while surrounded by loved ones on Monday, August 10., 2026. he was 91. Predeceased by beloved husband Bud. Dearly loved and respected Mother of Mark (Kate) and David (Jennifer). Proud Grandma of Patrick (Katherine) and Ryan Lindsay. Great Grandma of James and Alice Lindsay.
Dear sister to Ron (late Shirley), Marion (Norman) Steinwand and Lyle (Margaret). Predeceased by sister, Jean (Don) Farmer.
Survived by many nieces, nephews and so many wonderful friends.
Margaret Anne Lindsay was born on June 6, 1935 to parents Eunice and Campbell Lindsay in Provost, Alberta.
Margaret was raised on the prairies and aspired to become a nurse like her mother Eunice.
She attended the Royal Alexandra Hospital School of Nursing in Edmonton, Alberta.
She was a loyal and devoted friend, keeping in touch with all her nursing classmates for over 60 years.
Margaret moved east to Brockville, Ontario to start her nursing career. February 4, 1961, Margaret married and set out to raise a family and work hand in hand with her husband in various small businesses including Bayview Lodge Resort and Bud’s Repair Shop on White Lake.
Margaret had a quiet, strong and unassuming nature.
She kept her sense of humor, politeness and gratefulness through her later years even as she battled dementia.
Margaret had an unwavering faith in her God from an early age to the very end.
She loved and served her family, friends and strangers.
She will be greatly missed.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Mom’s family doctor (Dr. Fishman)
for his unwavering encouragement, understanding, and support.
We are also sincerely grateful to all of Mom’s caregivers for the care, patience, and compassion they showed her.

Margaret is resting in Jesus Messiah until Resurrection Day when she hears those glorious words,
“Well done, good and trustworthy servant. You were trustworthy over a little, I shall set you over much. Enter into the joy of your Master.” Matthew 25:23
Visitation will take place at the Pilon Family Funeral Home, Arnprior on Wednesday evening, September 2nd from 6 to 8 p.m.
and again on Thursday morning, September 3rd from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.
A funeral service will be held in the Pilon Family Chapel, Thursday morning, September 3rd at 11 o’clock followed by a reception at Pilon’s.
