LOGAN, Robert “Bob” Logan
May 8, 1956 - May 17, 2026
It is with profound sadness and endless love that we announce the passing of Robert “Bob” Logan on May 17, 2026.
Bob was born on May 8, 1956, and was the oldest of seven children. From an early age, he carried the role of big brother with strength, humour, and loyalty to his family.
Bob’s greatest joy in life was his family. He shared a lifelong love with his devoted wife, Nancy, and together they built a life filled with love, laughter, resilience, and unwavering commitment to one another. He was a proud and loving father to his two children, Robbie and Nicole. The heartbreaking loss of Robbie in 2000 was something Bob carried deeply in his heart forever.
Despite life’s hardships, Bob continued to love fiercely and found tremendous joy in being a grandfather to his three beautiful granddaughters, Alyssa, Sequoia, and Shaniyah, who brought endless pride and happiness to his life.
Bob was truly the life of the party — a bright light wherever he went. He had a gift for making people laugh, feel welcome, and enjoy the moment. He loved sports and could talk for hours about players, games, statistics, and history. His knowledge was endless, and he loved sharing it with anyone willing to listen.
Known for his generosity and dependability, Bob believed a handshake meant something and that your word was your bond. If someone needed help moving, fixing something, lending a hand, or volunteering, Bob was always there. He was a proud volunteer at Royal Canadian Legion Branch 10, where many knew him for his kindness, humour, and willingness to help others.
Bob will be remembered for his big heart, his loyalty, his stories, his laughter, and the love he gave so freely to those around him. His absence leaves an immeasurable void, but his spirit will live on in the memories of everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Forever loved by his wife Nancy, his daughter Nicole & his 3 granddaughters Alyssa Sequoia & Shaniyah & his family, and all who knew him.
