LUND , William James Lund

Passed away surrounded by love and his favourite music by Andrea Bocelli, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital on August 17, 2025 at the age of 75. Bill leaves to mourn his loving wife JoAnn, step-daughter Jennifer (Stuart) Graham and special granddaughter Emily, all of Scotland UK. He is survived by sisters Janet (Helmut), Susan (Bernie), sister-in-laws Brenda (Francis) of Alberta, Marlene (William, deceased), brother-in-law John (Debra) of BC and several nieces and nephews. Bill is predeceased by his mother and father Robert and Jean Lund, as well as his mother-in-law Joan, and sister-in-laws Judy, Patricia, Gloria and Shirley.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Cambridge Memorial Hospital, the Doctors and Nurses of Oncology/Surgical and ICU for their dedication, compassion and care they provided during Bill’s journey.

As per Bill’s request, cremation has taken place and there will be only an inurnment at Grand River Columbarium in Mount View Cemetery.

The family would greatly appreciate donations to the Cambridge Memorial Hospital or WRHN @ Midtown (formerly Grand River Hospital, KW Campus) in Bill’s memory.

Rest in peace Bill. You were a loving, kind, patient and gentle soul. You will be missed and forever loved.
