With profound sorrow and devotion, we announce the passing of Ramnarine Maharaj (Narine). Narine was the beloved husband of Esther Maharaj, a devoted father to Vedesh Maharaj and Asha Girdhar, and a loving father‑in‑law to Dave and Tess. He was a proud and affectionate grandfather to Anjali, Sara, and Miles, whose presence brought him immense joy and fulfillment.

Narine lived a life grounded in faith, family, and strong Hindu values. Deeply rooted in the teachings of Sanatan Dharma, Narine lived by the principles of dharma (righteous living), karma (selfless action), and seva (service to others). He carried himself with humility, patience, and quiet strength, offering steady guidance and unconditional love to his family. His life reflected the wisdom of the Bhagavad Gita, emphasizing duty, devotion, and balance.

Though his physical presence will be deeply missed, Narine’s legacy lives on through the values he instilled, the lives he touched, and the love he shared. As per Hindu belief, we find comfort knowing that his ātma (soul) is eternal and has now begun its sacred spiritual journey toward peace and liberation.
