Raymond Maleszyk

July 8, 1962 – June 5, 2025

Person in a kayak on a sunny lake.

It is with deeply saddened hearts that the family of Raymond Maleszyk announces his peaceful passing on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at the age of 62.

Ray will be lovingly remembered by his wife of nearly 35 years, Norah; his children Christian (Vanessa), Miranda (Chris), Matthew, and Jacob; and his cherished grandchildren Lincoln, Jaxon, Willow, and Wyatt. He is also survived by his sister Christine and his golden retrievers Riley and Blake.

He is predeceased by his parents Stanley and Emilia Maleszyk, and his brother Stanley.

Ray had many passions, including time spent in Muskoka and Haliburton at the family cottages, quilting for causes close to his heart, and a love for classic cars—especially 1967 Mustangs. His strong Christian faith was central in his life, as reflected in his love for gospel music and daily Bible reading.

Ray was a generous soul, a storyteller, and someone who made everyone feel important. His warmth and presence enriched the lives of those around him.
