MANDRYK, Kody Thompson Mandryk
It is with shattered hearts that we announce the sudden and tragic passing of Kody Eugene Earl Thompson Mandryk, who died in a car accident near his home on April 29, 2025, at the young age of 30.

Kody was a vibrant soul—full of energy, laughter, and an unwavering love for life. He spent the majority of his life in Scarborough, growing up in a tight-knit neighbourhood surrounded by lifelong friends who became like family.

He is deeply loved and will be forever missed by his loving, proud and devoted mother, Nicole Thompson, and his father, best friend, and lifelong companion, Christopher Mandryk, with whom he also proudly worked side by side. Kody leaves behind his beloved fiancée, Kassandra McIsaac, his soulmate and partner through all of life’s challenges. Together, they lifted each other through hardships and celebrated life’s joys hand in hand. Their love was deep, true, and enduring—a bond that brought them strength and comfort every single day.

Kody was the cherished grandson of the late Nicole and Earl Thompson, and Eugene and Therese Mandryk. He was a beloved nephew to Karen, Lara (Peter), Jon (Jackie), the late Sylvie DeBray the late Claude Debray. A beloved first cousin to Martine, Kennedy, Harrison, Mackenzie, Ethan, Abigail, and Emily.

Known for his fun-loving spirit and endless enthusiasm, Kody had a magnetic personality that brought joy to every gathering. Whether surrounded by family or friends, he was the life of the party and a source of strength and laughter to those around him.

Kody was taken from us far too soon. The void he leaves behind is immeasurable, but so is the love he gave in his short time with us. He will be missed deeply, remembered endlessly, and loved forever.

Visitation will be held on Thursday May 8th from 4pm – 8pm and Friday May 9th from 1pm to 8pm at Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East, Oshawa.
