MARCHAND, Hans Marchand

Passed away peacefully with family by his side, on December 23, 2025 at Royal Victoria Health Centre Barrie. Hans Marchand at the age of 84 years, beloved husband of Joyce Marchand (nee: Mills). Loving father of Karen Weldrick (David), and Derek Marchand (Charo). Dear grandfather of Kaitlyn (Adrian Wilkinson), Dr. Meagan (Landon Roth), and Jorge (Karla). Predeceased by his parents Christaan and Toos Marchand (Versteeg), and his sister Marijke Marchand. Forever in the hearts of his extended family and friends.

The family will receive friends at Rod Abrams Funeral Home 1666 Tottenham Rd., Tottenham 905-936-3477 on Sunday December 28, 2025 with Visitation from 12pm until the time of Funeral Service in the chapel at 1pm. Interment will follow in St. John’s 6th Line Cemetery. For those who wish donations in Hans’ memory to the Parkinson Society would be appreciated.
