It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Maria Marchant on Sunday, November 24, 2024, at the age of 76.
Beloved wife of William Marchant. Loving mother of Kevin (Justyne) Marchant and Paul (Jennifer) Marchant. Proud vovo of Anthony, Alex, Isabelle, and twin boys on the way. Dear sister of Laurinda Gorgulho and the late Arlinda (Rene) Vieira. She will be greatly missed by her nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
The family would like to thank Dr. Katrina Cox for her exceptional care and compassion during her time with Maria.
A visitation will be held on Friday, November 29th, 2024, at Mount Lawn Funeral Home and Cemetery, 21 Garrard Road in Whitby, ON, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A church service will be held on Saturday, November 30th, 2024, at Healing Place Church, 374 Farewell Street in Oshawa, ON, at 1:00 PM. She will be laid to rest at Mount Lawn Cemetery following the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her name to Healing Place Church would be greatly appreciated.
