MARSHALL , Ethelwyn Matilda “Tillie” Marshall (née Ricker)

Tillie Marshall of Wolverton, Ontario passed away peacefully, but suddenly after a brief illness at University Hospital, London on, Saturday, August 16, 2025, at 83 years of age. Beloved wife of the late Gordon “Ross” Marshall (2008), Loved mother to Kim (Dale), and Ken (Krista). Cherished grandma to Dan (Samantha), Brittany and Rebecca and great grandma to Kaylee and Carson. Dear sister of David and Carol Ricker as well as sister-in-law Linda. She will be missed by her nieces, nephews and surviving members of her extended Marshall and Ricker families. Predeceased by her parents Walter and Emily Ricker (nee Slack), her brother John and sister-in-law Darlene.

Tillie, originally from Waterdown moved to Wolverton to raise her family alongside her husband Ross Marshall. She expressed her love for her family and friends in her talents of baking, sewing and gardening. She was a devoted mother to her children and caregiver to Ross in his later years. She will be sadly missed.

Cremation has taken place. Interment Ayr Cemetery, family and close friends only. An informal gathering to celebrate Tillie’s life will take place in the Fellowship Hall at Knox United Church, 92 Northumberland St. Ayr, Ontario, on Saturday, August 23, 2025, from 2-4 pm.
