It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Noemi Sonia Martinez, who departed this life on June 30, 2025, at the age of 80. Born on January 20, 1945, in La Ceiba, Honduras, Noemi was the beloved daughter of the late Angel and Olga Carcamo.

Noemi was the devoted wife of the late Victor Martinez Villalobos and a cherished mother to her three daughters, Kenia Martinez, Belkis Martinez-Rodriguez and the late Sulma Martinez. Known lovingly as “Tita” by her grandchildren: Anthony, Steven, Giannah, Evert, Wilfredo, Bill Anthony, and Yanire, she held them close to her heart.

Noemi built a life centered around family, friends, and love. Her home was a haven where meals were shared, stories exchanged, and memories created. Her grace, resilience, and compassion shaped the values of her family and will be her enduring legacy.

Visitation will be held at DeMarco Funeral Home (3725 Keele Street, Toronto, ON) on Thursday, July 10, 2025, from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM, followed by a chapel service at 7:00 PM. Interment will take place Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Meadowvale Cemetery (7732 Mavis Rd, Brampton, ON).

Noemi will be deeply missed and forever loved. May she rest in peace.
