Michele Mastrangelo
May 12, 1942 – March 9, 2025
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Michele Mastrangelo, who passed away peacefully at home in Whitby, Ontario,
in the early morning of Sunday, March 9, 2025, at the age of 82, with his loving family by his side after a courageous battle with cancer.
Beloved husband of the late Rosa (née Colella). Loving father to Rosaria, Pina, Angela (Brad), and Elia (late Kevin).
Cherished grandfather to Michele, Peter, Rosina, Peter, and Rosalyn.
Dear brother to Rocco (Serafina), Maria (late Giovanni) of Whitby, and Giuseppina (late Savino) of Melbourne, Australia.
Predeceased by his siblings, Giuseppe (late Maria) of Foggia, Italy, Euplio (late Angela) of Anzano di Puglia, Italy, and Rosina of Germany.
Lovingly remembered by his cherished nieces and nephews, including Rosaria of Foggia, Italy, Elena, Rosie, and Molly of Whitby,
and Rocco and Peter of Whitby, as well as many other family members in Canada, Italy, and Australia.
Michele will be fondly remembered for his sense of humor, kindness, and deep devotion to his loved ones.
He faced his illness with remarkable determination, surrounded by his daughters, brother, and sister.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the doctors, nurses, and PSWs at Lakeridge Oshawa Palliative,
as well as the medical staff who provided care and support during his final days.
