MAZZA, Kathy Mazza

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce that Kathy passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her family and friends, on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at the age of 45.

Beloved wife of Martino. Cherished mother of Rocco. Much loved daughter of Kata and Josip Grubic and daughter-in-law of Francesca and Salvatore Mazza. Dear sister of John Grubich (Jennifer) and Linda Lajkosz (Mark) and sister-in-law of Ignazio Mazza and Jeffrey Mazza. Loving teta to Olivia, Chelsey and Emma. Kathy will be dearly missed by her aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Kathy was a beautiful soul who left this world too soon. She touched the lives of everyone who knew her and was known for her warm heart, easy going nature and unwavering thoughtfulness. Though she was quiet by nature, her presence spoke volumes. While words can never capture the depth of our loss, we take comfort in knowing that her spirit will live on in her son and the memories we hold dear.

Visitation at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, 135 Livingston Avenue, Grimsby, on Sunday, August 24, 2025, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. where the Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, August 25, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. Burial to follow at Our Lady of the Angels Cemetery.
