MCCUISH, Charles Tennant McCuish

He was born January 8, 1933 in Glasgow, Scotland passed peacefully with his loving family by his side on March 12, 2026 in Burlington at the age of 93.

Charles’ love and spirit will be missed by his daughters Lorene (Chris) and Patricia (Sam) and their mother Ruby (Berk) and grandchildren Christine (Dave), Jack and Victoria and great grandchildren Hayden and Mason. Charles will also be missed by his sister Barbara and nieces Amanda and Nadra as well as brother Donald and niece Karen.

Charles Tennant McCuish was predeceased by his parents Mary and Donald and sister Minnie (Tom) and nieces Carol and Sandra as well as his dear companion Ruth Court.

Charlie loved his morning coffee, afternoon 40 winks, a wee cuppa with cards and watching baseball on television. He will be remembered for his love of family, his passion for golf and his masterful model ship building. Charles was a lifelong Freemason of the Operative Lodge of Airdrie, Scotland.

Arrangement has been entrusted to Merritt Funeral Home, Smithville. A private family burial will take place in the springtime.
