Paway peacefully on Friday, August 29th,2025 at Peterborough Regional Hospital.
Brother of Sandra (the late Glenn) Carol, Shelley (the late Norma), Mark (Wendy), and Kevin (Terri). Predeceased by parents Ross and Dorie Mercer and brothers Dennis “Buzz” (Debbie) and Wayne “Bub” (Pat).
David will be dearly missed by his nieces and nephews and the many friends made over the years in Orono and Woodville working at the corner convenience stores and his time at the family Mercer Garage in Orono.
As per David’s wishes, cremation will take place, and the family will hold a private service at Orono Cemetery.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Orono Rebekah Hall on September 27th from 1 to 4 pm
