MOLLARD, Eric Brown Mollard
It is with heavy hearts that the Mollard family announces the peaceful passing of Eric Brown Mollard on July 15, 2026, at Sprucedale Care Centre, one week after his 94th birthday. Beloved husband of Betty Ann Mollard of 67 cherished years. Loving father of Lisa (Gary) Wort, Jeffrey (Susan) Mollard, the late Carl (Anne) Mollard, and Martha (Colin) Leyburn. Proud Grandpa and Papa of Brandon, Elisha, Travis, Sean, Emily, Ross, Cameron, Brooke, Rachel, Michael, Janalyn and Nick. Cherished great-grandpa of 22 great grandchildren who will all remember him for having a never-ending tin of chocolate bars.
Survived by his siblings, Brenda (late Gerry), Peter (Judith) as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Norman and Lillian Mollard.

Eric lived a full life, doing what he loved, with who he loved everyday.
Eric was a very dedicated dairy farmer in McGillivray Township, the fourth generation of his family farm, that is still being carried on today. Eric loved animals, and milking his cows was by far his favourite pass time. During his lifetime, he was lucky enough to work alongside his grandfather, father, sons, and grandsons. He was also able to watch his great grandchildren grow to love the farm as well.
Eric loved to socialize, for years at the coffee shop, and on the phone. He called most of his grandchildren every day, making his rounds to speak with each of them, even if just for a moment, to talk about the weather, or check in on his great grandkids. He loved his sweets, always being spoiled by his mother and his wife, no meal was ever complete without desserts. If you called Eric with a problem, he was always willing to help. A very kind and gentle man, a fantastic husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Eric will be truly missed by everyone who was lucky enough to know him.
His family would like to give a special thank you to the family members that always made the extra time to check-in and visit with a double-double and a few timbits in his final years.
Visitation will take place on Saturday, July 18, 2026, from 12:00p.m.-3:00p.m. at DENNING’S OF PARKHILL. A private family interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers as expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to “Sleeping Children around the World”.
