Monica Elizabeth Donovan

Monica died in the warmth of her home at Presentation Manor. She is the last of her family to be called to eternal life. She is the daughter of Thomas and Mary Ellen Donovan, and the sister of Madeline Barnes (Jim), Marguerite Boyle (Joe), Sr. Rosemarie Donovan, OLM, and Fr. Merlin Donovan, CSsR. Monica worked as an RN at St. Michael’s Hospital and then for many years at The Catholic Children’s Aid Society. She was a devout Catholic and lifetime parishioner of St. Brigid’s Parish. Hers was a long life of service to God and her fellow man; a life lived in faith, love and joy. Monica’s good friend Ruthanne said it best: “Monica exudes the presence of God. She was a special gift to me.” And to us all.
Visitation on Tuesday, November 3, from 7 – 9 pm at Presentation Manor – 61 Fairfax Cres. Scarborough.
Funeral Mass on Wednesday, November 4, at 10:30 am at Presentation Manor – reception after the Mass.
