MORGAN, Beverley Morgan

A resident of Chatham, Beverley Morgan  passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on March 3, 2026 at the age of 85.

Born in Chatham, Beverley was the daughter of the late Jack and Margaret (née Shankie) Brooks.

Beloved wife of  the late John Morgan.

Loving mother of Ruth (David) Wellman and Steven (Tammy) Morgan. Chosen son Wayne (Audrey) Ellis.  Dear brother Richard (the late Dorelle) Brooks,  Dawson (Joanne) Brooks and Dean Brooks.  Proud grandmother of 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.  She will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her sister Elizabeth (Frank) Rodick and brother Robert Brooks.

Beverley “Bev” lived in Kent County her whole life.  After graduating from Hamilton General Hospital as a registered nurse in 1961 she returned to Chatham and was employed at P.G.H. and later Thamesview Lodge until her retirement in 1996.

Friends will be received at the funeral home 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Sunday, March 8, 2026 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm.  A private funeral service to be held.
