diane morton oshawa on obituary

With deep sorrow and everlasting love, we remember and celebrate the life of Diane Morton.

Diane Hannah Morton lived a life marked by strength, resilience, love, and devotion to her family. From Belfast to Canada, she built a life centered around hard work, caring for others, and creating a loving home for her family.

Diane is survived by her beloved partner Robert Embrey; her children Kim, Jim, Michelle, and Stephen; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

After a courageous five-year journey with dementia, Diane spent her final hours at home, surrounded by the love, laughter, and comfort of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She fought to stay with those she loved, and in the arms of her family, she left this world peacefully.

Predeceased by her parents, Harriet and James, and her six siblings, Diane is now reunited with the family she dearly loved, together again beyond the shores of Ireland, her journey bringing her home at last.

Visitation will be held at the Oshawa Funeral Home on Saturday May 16 from noon until 1:30 pm.

A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel at 1:30 pm followed by burial at Groveside Cemetery, Brooklin.

Forever loved, forever missed, and forever carried in the hearts of those who will never stop missing her.
