OSBORNE, Bruce Osborne

It is with deepest sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father and Papa , Milton “Bruce” Osborne of Warsaw, Ontario  on Dec 6, 2025 on the palliative care unit at PRHC, with his family by his side.

Bruce was born January 15,1935 to Mark and Gladys Osborne in Arden Ontario where he grew up on the Osborne farm.

He was predeceased by his parents Mark and Gladys Osborne ( nee Scott) , his loving wife Helen ( nee Dodds) and his brother Harold. He is survived by his daughter Marie ( Dave ), son Paul ( Cheryl ) , grandchildren Angela, Sarah, Hilary, Mark, Matthew and great grandchildren Zachary, Mason, Brayden and Callie. Also survived by sister-in-law Florence Osborne and nephews David and Kenneth Osborne.

Dad enjoyed a great career working at Trent University from 1969 to 1992 as a Technical Coordinator in the Psychology Department. After retirement Dad and Mom moved to Northbrook , Ontario where they stayed for the next 31 years. They loved to do gardening , make maple syrup and enjoyed being active members of the fiddle club where Dad loved to entertain. He was a talented and resourceful man who could build his family a cottage, renovate a home, fix a car and compose music. He could play any stringed instrument , but the fiddle was his love. His music will live on, on his YouTube channel under Bruce Osborne.

As per Dad’s request a private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
