Peacefully, on Thursday, December 16, 2021, at Copper Terrace Long Term Care Facility, Blanche Loretta Ouellette passed away at the age of 89. Born in Chatham in 1932, she was the beloved wife of the late Eugene Ouellette and daughter of the late Alma (Demers) and Regis Gagnier.
Blanche is lovingly remembered by her granddaughters Michelle (Sean) Pero and Corrinna Ouellette,
along with eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Richard Ouellette,
and by siblings Antoinette Tetreault, Rose Martin, Freeda Charron, Bertha Demers, Helen Tetreault, and Oscar Gagnier.
As per her wishes, cremation has taken place.
A Celebration of Life will be held on
Friday, August 29, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at
Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham, Ontario.
Donations in Blanche’s memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
