PAYNE, Beverley Payne

With great sadness, we announce the passing of Beverley Payne, who left us peacefully surrounded by her family at Four Counties Health Services in Newbury, on June 2, 2026. Beverley was in her 80th year.

Bev was a loving wife, and nurturing Mom and Grandma with a warm and generous heart. She always put the needs of others above herself.

She will be dearly missed by her best friend and husband of 56 years, Bruce Payne of Newbury (formerly of Rodney). Deeply loved by her daughter Jennifer Veraart (Paul), and her son David Payne (Maggie Ellen).  Loving grandmother to Hannah and Ethan Veraart.

She is survived by her brothers Bob (Ruth Anne) Jones and Ken (Mary) Jones, as well as several nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by her parents, Morley and Kay (nee Pettit) Jones and her sister Donna Armstrong. At Beverley’s request there will be no funeral home visitation or service.

In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to Four Counties Health Services Care in Beverley’s memory.
