Pettipiece, Richard – A resident of Chatham, Richard Pettipiece passed away at his home on Thursday, July 31st, 2025 at the age of 73.
He was the son of the late Lorne & Myrtle (née Lemery) Pettipiece.
Always remembered by his wife of 45 years, Virginia Pettipiece (née Krahn). Dear father of Marissa (Steven) Fraleigh, Matthew Pettipiece (Jill), and Meghan Pettipiece. Brother of Harold Pettipiece. Predeceased by his brothers Marvin Pettipiece and Wesley Pettipiece. Brother-in-law of Linda Pettipiece.
He will be missed by many nieces, nephews, and extended family. Richard enjoyed fishing, golfing, and watching the Toronto Blue Jays. He was also the primary caregiver to his wife Virginia.
Friends will be received at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St., Chatham on Wednesday, August 6, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. A Memorial Service will begin at 2:30 p.m.
