PFINDER, Constance Mary Pfinder

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Connie Pfinder, who died peacefully at Matthews House Hospice. Connie leaves us only after fighting a courageous battle of cancer with great strength and humor, while being surrounded by her family and friends.

Connie is survived by her three children, Ruth Pfinder, Krista Pfinder and Cindy Lavallee, her five grandchildren, Letitia Hearty and Troy Pfinder, Lindsey O’Hearn, Ethan and Tanner Marges, and her two great grandchildren Noah and Ben Hearty. She is also survived by her sister Dianne (Dave) Jarvis and two nephews Dave (Amy) Jarvis, and Daniel (Ginette) Gothreau. Connie was pre-deceased by her parents Clarence and Lucy (Martin) Gothreau, her brother Roy (Raymond) Gothreau, her niece Linda (Benoit) Gothreau, and her partner of 44 years, Robert (Bob) Bradley.

A celebration of life will be held at St. Dunstan of Canterbury, 56 Lawson Road, Scarborough, Ontario on Monday, November 3, 2025 from 1:30 pm – 3:30 pm. Connie’s Mass will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church, 63 Church Street, Amherst, Nova Scotia on Thursday, November 6, 2025 at 11:00 am, with a reception to follow. A Committal Service at Saint Charles-Nativity Roman Catholic Cemetery, 75 E Pleasant Street, Amherst, Nova Scotia will follow the reception.
