Passed away peacefully on Monday October 6th at Alexandra Marine & General Hospital, Goderich in her 84th year. Survived by her husband Dwight Porter, grandchildren Amanda (Wade) Holland, Brendan (Madeleine) Essex and Ryan Essex, and great grandchildren Avery, Sawyer, Ethan, Elliot and Eliza. Survived by her siblings, Beverley McDonald, Larry and Laurie Lee, and Don and Betty Lee. She will be greatly missed by her dog Buddy and by her numerous nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her beloved son Kevin Essex, her parents Elmer and Phyllis Lee, parents-in-law Richard and June Porter, sister Ellen Govenlock, brothers in law Doug McDonald, Darwin Porter, Beverly Porter and sisters in law Judy Lee and Renada Porter.
Cremation has taken place. Internment will take place at the Clinton Cemetery as well as a Celebration of life at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations can be made to Alexandra Marine & General Hospital Foundation, Goderich or One Care Home and Community Support Services, Clinton.
