PRINS, Harm Prins

With sadness, but celebrating his life and Christian faith, we say goodbye to Harm Prins (Bowmanville, Ontario). Harm was born April 5, 1932 in Kielwindeweer, The Netherlands. After reaching his 94th birthday on Easter Sunday, he left this world on April 8, 2026. His strong faith and leadership, generous spirit, and endearing sense of humor will be long remembered by his many loved ones.

Harm Prins is survived by his wife Tettje, partner in life for 67 years; children Donald Prins (Greta); Louise Koopmans (William); Clarence Prins; Henrietta Couperus (Stuart); Fred Prins (Liza); Gerard Prins (Nancy); Margaret Kunkel (Randy); Grace Caudle (Darren); Arnold Prins (Gina); Henry Prins. He is also survived by 34 grandchildren, and an ever-growing number of great-grandchildren (53 at the time of his passing); siblings Tina Feddes (FredϮ); Abel Prins (FreaϮ); Aaltje Prins.

Harm was predeceased by numerous siblings and in-laws: Fedde Prins (SjoukjeϮ); Jantje Mulder (LuikenϮ); Arend Prins; Janna Buurma (PieterϮ); Margaretha Weijs (BenϮ); Aaltje Prins.

Throughout his lifetime, Harm Prins was a successful farmer, an avid reader, and a keen student of history, politics and economy. He was deeply involved in church leadership and the advancement of Christian education.
