It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Randall James Burrell, a devoted husband, father, loving grandfather, cherished father-in-law, beloved son, caring brother, uncle, and loyal friend. Randall was truly the heart and soul of his family. His love, kindness, and unwavering devotion to those around him will remain with us forever.
Known for his tender heart, joyful personality, magnetic laugh, and warm smile, Randall had a way of bringing good energy wherever he went. He was a simple, caring, and genuine man. He found joy in the simple things in life, especially the time he spent surrounded by family and friends. His greatest happiness came from being with the people he loved.
Randall is survived by his loving wife, Janet Burrell, his children and their partners: Camille and Wade, Chantel and Leo, Michelle, Sean and Jessica, Jahmal and Farida. He was a cherished and devoted grandfather to: Cheyenne, Kyrie, Amiyah, Kaysen, Leah, Kingston, and Kruz. Randall will be missed by his siblings Joy, Junior, Dennis, Pam, Fay and Diane.
As a husband, father, grandfather, father-in-law, brother, son, uncle, cousin, and friend, Randall was loving, true, and trustworthy. He was always ready and willing to listen, offer support, or lend a helping hand whenever someone needed him. He welcomed different opinions with an open mind and treated everyone with kindness and respect.
His magnetic personality and infectious laugh drew people toward him. He always seemed to have a smile on his face, and his presence brought comfort, happiness, and good energy to those around him. His positive attitude and caring nature made people feel safe knowing they could lean on him.
Randall’s love for his family was immeasurable. He was a devoted and engaged father and grandfather who cherished every moment spent with his children and grandchildren. He took great pride in watching his grandchildren grow, celebrating their accomplishments, encouraging their dreams, and simply being there for the moments that mattered most. Their happiness brought him immense pride and joy. He was their biggest supporter and will forever remain one of their greatest cheerleaders.
Randall worked for Ford Motor Company at its Oakville location for 30 years as a Welder Technician. He took great pride in his work and was known for his strong work ethic, dedication, and commitment. The same qualities he carried throughout his working life being dependable, hardworking, and caring were qualities that defined him as a person.
He loved spending time with his family and friends, enjoying good food, sharing stories, listening to music, and simply being together. He was a generous soul who loved bringing people together for family gatherings and celebrations. His home was often a place filled with laughter, conversation, good food, music, and memories.
Randall’s caring and supportive nature allowed the people around him to know they could always count on him. He worked hard not only to build a good life for himself, but also to support and uplift those around him. His courage, determination, humility, and kindness defined the man he was.
To know Randall was to love him. His loyal friendships, many of which lasted for decades, were a testament to the kind of person he was. Most importantly, his countless acts of kindness touched many lives. He loved unconditionally and was a fierce protector of those he loved.
We were blessed to have the opportunity to spend precious time with Randall and create meaningful memories together. The stories, laughter, photographs, music, and moments we shared will remain in our hearts forever.
There is so much more to Randall than words could ever describe. His infectious laugh, warm smile, gentle spirit, generosity, and unwavering love for his family will be deeply missed. His absence will be felt by his wife, children, grandchildren, extended family, friends, former colleagues, and everyone whose life he touched.
Though he is no longer physically with us, his legacy of love, kindness, family, and compassion will live on through all of us. Every story we tell, every photograph we look at, every song we hear, and every memory we share will remind us of the wonderful man he was.
The family would also like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Ballycliffe Long Term Care Residence and all of their staff for the care, compassion, kindness, and support they provided to Randall and our family. Your dedication and care will always be remembered and deeply appreciated.
Randall will forever be loved, forever remembered, and forever missed. The family sincerely appreciates all of your prayers, condolences, love, and kind gestures during this difficult time.
