REID, Reginald John Sidney Reid

He passed away peacefully and surrounded by family at Brockville General Hospital on June 4th 2026.

He was born on June 30th, 1954 in Brockville, Ontario to Reginald John Sidney Reid (Luke) and Mary Audrey Reid (Grue). He built a 33 year career as a custodian at Upper Canada School Board, known for his dedication and integrity.

Junior is survived by his wife of 52 years Bonnie Reid (Kirkby), daughter Tracy (Kirk) and grandchildren Mikayla (Albert) and Noah (Mackenzie). His siblings Bonnie (Glen) and Robert, his in laws James (Marg), Judy (Allen), Steven and many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his parents, brother David (Penny), sister and brother in law Sharon and Bill and great-granddaughter Alice.

He loved fishing, and hunting with his dad. He loved to play his guitar and banjo at his church, he was a faithful member for many years. He enjoyed tinkering in the garage, to his grandchildren “Grandpa could fix anything”. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered for his sense of humour, knack for fixing just about anything and his unwavering love.

A visitation will be held on Monday June 8th from 11:00am-12:45pm, followed by a memorial service at 1:00pm at Open Door Fellowship (4457 Rowsome Rd, Brockville).

In lieu of flowers, donations to can be made to Open Door Fellowship Church or The Diabetes Association of Canada.
