Frederick Wylie Roberts

Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 29, 2026 at home with his beloved wife of 65 years.

Dear Father of Mark (Brigitte) and Heather (Kevin). Loving Papa to Samantha (Zach) and Melissa (Mitch), and Great-Papa to Hudson, Elliott, Sadie and Callie. Predeceased by his parents William and Renovia and sister Lois Roberts. Will be greatly missed by his brother and sister in laws and adopted brother and snowmobile partner Sterling McGill.

Fred enjoyed 50 years of snowmobiling, watching the Toronto Blue Jays and Oshawa Generals. Fred and Josie enjoyed many years of holidays and family and friends together.

Fred will be dearly missed by everyone who knew him. Special thanks to his nurse Raman and PSWs Bebe and Richelle.

As per Fred’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Memorial Visitation will take place at Northcutt Elliott Funeral 53 Division Street, Bowmanville on Thursday, August 6th, 2026 from 1030 a.m.- 12:00 p.m. followed by a service at 12:00 pm.
