ROBERTS, Shirley Theresa Roberts

Passed away suddenly, but peacefully, at her home, in Langton on Saturday, March 28th, 2026, Shirley Theresa Roberts at the age of 86. Shirley was a former dedicated employee at the Norfolk General Hospital in the Dietary Department for several years. Proud member of the Langton Sacred Heart C.W.L. for many years. Born in Simcoe daughter of the late Clayton Coates and the late former Margaret (Carnes) Coates. Shirley is predeceased by her beloved husband Francis Roberts (October 10, 2001). Much loved mother and mother-in-law of: Ann (Ron Krohe), Langton and Brian (Trish) Roberts, Aurora. Proud and loving grandma of: Courtney; Soleil, Aurelia and Phoenix. Dear sister of Alma Thurley (Ron), Windsor. Predeceased by a brother Lawrence (Barb); and two sisters: Eileen Carter (Alfred) and Patricia Furler (Pat). Survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Shirley was a very caring and loving wife and mom and grandma. She loved her family very much and she was a good friend to many.

A public visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 31st, 2026, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Maurice J. Verhoeve Funeral Home Chapel, 40 Queen Street, Langton. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated on Wednesday, April 1st, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart R.C. Church, 24 Albert Street, Langton, by Rev. Fr. Seejo John. Interment follows in Sacred Heart R.C. Cemetery, Langton.
