It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ron after a brief illness on August 23, 2026 at the age of 78. Beloved husband of Aranka (nee Dorko) for 57 years. Loving father of David (Laurie) and Judy Hamilton. Treasured Papa of grand-daughters Sarah, Abbey, Elizabeth ”Bözsi”, and Karlee. Dear brother of the late Robert ”Bob” and Dennis (Helena). He will be greatly missed by many family and close friends. Ronald Charles Toth retired in 2011 after 18 years of loyal service at the Ford Motor Company, Oakville Assembly Plant. He was a devoted family man who always made time for family bonding. He enjoyed travelling, cruising with his wife, and cottage time boating and fishing at Rice Lake. Visitation will be held at P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 796 Upper Gage Ave. (Between Mohawk and Fennell) on Wednesday September 2, 2026 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 20 Idlewood Ave. on Thursday September 3, 2026 at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 600 Spring Gardens Rd. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Diabetes Canada or the charity of your choice.
