ROONEY , Linda Lou Dart Rooney

Peacefully, with family by her side at Southbridge LTC, Owen Sound on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 in her 75th year. Linda Lou Rooney, born December 16, 1950. Linda was married to the late Dana John Rooney for 51 years and raised their children Michael, Jason (Angie), Erica, Vanessa, Ashley (Malcolm), Donna (Dalton), and Trevor in the Meaford area.

Linda will miss and will always be smiling down on her grandchildren Devon, Joshua, Dustin, Harmony, Cameron, Brittany, Eric, Logan, Evan, Katelynn, Dalton, Jaxson, and her great grandchildren Amelia & Tallula and all those still to come. Linda spent her last few months at Southbridge Long Term Care and made many friends there. Her loving spirit was a welcome addition to the home. She will be remembered.

She is remembered by her late parents Ella & Joseph Dart, EllaMae (late husband John Henderson), Doris (Tom Raymond), John (Rose), Darlene (late Dave Raymond) and late Tom Dart (Denise) and Ron Dart (Mary). Linda is remembered by her in laws: Francis & Gordon Rooney, Normandy (Jack Crozier), Phylis (late husband Iggy Clarke), Jennifer (Fred Schram), Shane (Becky), Ian (Lisa), Rachel (Ted Broker), as well as his late brothers Francis (Frank) Rooney and Neal (Judy) Rooney.

Linda is remembered by her nieces and nephews: Leanne, Joey, Willow, Jessica, Yvonne, Eric, Charlene, Michelle, Florian, Danielle, Rachelle, Norman, Andy, Jill, John, Ted, Katie, Alyssa, Kim, Barbara, Craig, Shannon, Renee, Grace, Sherry-Lynn, Lindsay, Gordie, Donald, John, Jamie, Debra, Nicole, Bev, Doug, Joe, Rob, Michelle, Serena, Brenda, Mark, Tim, Tina, Trevor.
