ROSS, Elizabeth Helen Ross

It is with much sadness and love that we, her family and many friends announce the passing of Betty Ross. Peacefully, on Friday, November 21, 2025 at Brightshores Health System, Southampton, in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late Jim Ross. Survived by her sister Margaret Krozek, and sisters-in-law Daryl McConvey, Ruth Ross, and Gloria McKinnon. Betty was born and raised in Hamilton, Ontario and is predeceased by her parents Jim and Pearl Ritchie, and her brother Stanley.

Betty worked at town offices of Port Elgin from 1972 – 1981. She taught many toll painting classes, her detailed work was amazing. Betty loved outdoor gardening, indoor plants, and golfing. She loved to travel and always had treats for her furry friends.

Friends will be received from 12:00pm to the time of the Funeral Service at 1:00pm on Monday, December 1, 2025 at the T.A. Brown Funeral Home, 510 Mill Street, Port Elgin, 5519-832-2222. Interment, Sanctuary Park Cemetery, Port Elgin.

Memorial donations to the Saugeen memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
