It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Susan Elizabeth Desroches (née Rowlands) of Peterborough, Ontario on June 10, 2025.

Born to Ruth and Hartley Rowlands (both predeceased), Susan will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Robin and Michelle (Chris), and her cherished grandsons Cody (Shannin), Austin, Dyson, and Hunter.

She will also be dearly missed by her siblings Stephen (Maryke), Cathy, and Lisa (Randy), many nieces and nephews, and was predeceased by her brother Doug (Mary-Ann). Susan leaves behind her beloved best friend, Dexter.

Susan had a deep love for gardening and art, and in her later years took up kayaking. She enjoyed countless road trips with Dexter and embraced life’s simple pleasures with joy and creativity.

Visitation will take place on Sunday, June 22, 2025, at Ashburnham Funeral Home beginning at 1:00 p.m., followed by the funeral at 2:00 p.m. A reception will follow at 32 Rustlewood Ave, Bethany.

Donations in Susan’s memory would be appreciated to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
