Anna (Ann) Marie Rydzanicz, 67, of Oshawa, Ontario, passed away on August 13, 2025 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa after a brief but intense battle with cancer. Ann is predeceased by her parents, Piotr John and Stefania Barbara Rydzanicz. Ann is survived by her loving daughter, and best friend, Amy Rydzanicz.
Ann was enjoying the freedom of retirement but had worked for 27 years at Glen Street Public School as the secretary, making an impact on students and staff alike. Full of love, laughter, and resilience, Ann touched the lives of all who knew her. Memorial donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society. Amy wishes to extend her gratitude to the medical team at the Durham Regional Cancer Centre and Lakeridge Health Oshawa for taking care of Ann during her battle and in her final days. Details of a memorial service for Ann will be announced at a later date.
