SCHOFIELD, Ronald Isaac Paul Schofield

He passed peacefully at Campbell House Hospice in Collingwood on July 3, 2026 in his 65th year. Ron is survived and loved by his common law partner of over 15 years Patty Husband-Davis, mother Victoria, sisters Kathy McGuire and Vicki (Sandro) Nevicato, and brother Ray. Ron was the proud father of Rosina (Danny Mark), Gavin Davies, and Katherine (Lewis) and stepfather of Melody and Patrick Davis. Ron has left behind many nieces and nephews along with great nieces and nephews. His nephews Clayton and David held a special place in Ron’s heart as they in his. Ron is predeceased by his father Isaac Schofield and brother Robert “Bobbie”.

Ronald Isaac Paul Schofield is remembered as a proud, practical, old-fashioned man. His career in trucking and time in the military provided Ron the opportunity to make friends all across Canada and the world, especially in Guelph and British Columbia.

Despite his old-fashioned values, or perhaps because of them, Ron was deeply in touch with himself and his body and held a strong spiritual belief. It is fitting that he passed during the “witching hour”. Ron was a multi-faceted man, who was outspoken and energetic, protective and fierce, loving and kind. His giving and generous nature will be remembered by all those whose paths crossed his.

Per Ron’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal services will be held. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to charity or doing something kind for a stranger. And just in case you haven’t been told today, Ron would want you to remember that you’re beautiful!!
