SHEPPARD, Sheila Frances Sheppard

It is with great love and sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Sheila Frances Sheppard, on October 3, 2025, in Milton, ON at the age of 80.

Predeceased by her husbands Edward Wilson and Larry “Sonny” Sheppard. Cherished mother of Barbara (Jimmy) and the late Ed. Proud grandmother to Jamie and Tina. Sheila’s love for her family was at the heart of everything she did. She was a devoted sister to Cathie (Ralph) and the late Isabel (Don), and a loving aunt to Nancy, Gary, Glen (Jen), and Bryan. She will also be greatly missed by her extended family and friends.

Sheila enjoyed a long and dedicated career as the Business Manager at Milton District High School, where her kindness, organization, and sharp sense of humour made a lasting impression on colleagues and students alike.

Beyond her professional life, Sheila found joy in simple pleasures — travelling, spending time with friends and family, and never missing a good bingo game at Seasons. Known fondly as the “dance Nana,” she lit up every recital and was always her grandchildren’s biggest fan. Her laughter, warmth, and generous spirit will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.

Friends will be received on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 from 12:00-1:00pm at McKersie & Early Funeral Home at 114 Main St. E., Milton.  Visitation will be followed by a Funeral Service in the Chapel at 1:00pm.  Following the service, there will be a private family burial at Milton Evergreen Cemetery located at  230 Ontario St. S., Milton,  ON.
