It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mom Alice Shymanski, who passed away peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital on Thursday, October 9th, 2025, at the age of 73.
She was the mother of Patti Solbeck, Laurie Laitinen (Kevin), and Heather Solbeck. Grandmother of Jenna (Max), Kaeden (Chloe), Kaylee, Hanna and Michael. Sister of Gilbert (Carolle), and the late Linda McDowell (Roy).
Daughter of the late Alice Ralph (John) and the late Basil Shymanski.
She will be remembered by her nieces and nephews. Alice was very close with her special friend, Trudy Wamsley.
As per mom’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral.
