SIKLOS, Andorne – It is with deep sadness to announce the passing of Andorne Siklos (nee Agnes Banat) on 2025. November 9.

Born on December 15, 1930 in Budapest, Hungary, she was the beloved daughter of Geza and Iren Banat. After surviving the Holocaust, she lived a full and meaningul life in Hungary. She permanently moved to Canada in 2018 to live with her only son Tom (Tamas) and his family.

She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Andor (Bandika) Siklos and by their grandson Danny.

Agi Mama will be lovingly remembered by her son Tom (Mary), granddaughter Judi (Jamie), great- granddaughters Hazel and Violet, cousin Andrew Gardos (Claire) and by her friends in Hungary and Canada.

Following the funeral, visitors are welcome to attend shiva at: 5 Amberty Street, Thornhill, ON LSJ 8W6. Shiva visits will conclude on Friday, November 14th before Shabbat.
