Elizabeth Ann “Betty Ann” Sorley (nee Leone) passed away unexpectedly at Queenston Place Residence on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at the age of 79. Beloved wife for 53 years to the late Kenneth Sorley (2021). She was the devoted mother of Karie (the late Sam, 2012) Ippolito and Jamie Sorley, and a cherished grandmother to Kyle and Matthew Ippolito.

Betty Ann will be lovingly remembered by her sisters Angela McClelland and Janice (Tony) Hagan, and her sisters-in-law Betty Peckham, Barbara (late Earl) Sutton, and Bruno Rossi. She is predeceased by her parents James and Elizabeth (nee Senese) Leone, sister-in-law Gail Rossi, and brothers-in-law Garry and Fred Sorley.

Betty Ann dedicated herself to her children and family. She loved shopping, camping, playing cards, bingo, and going out for dinner with friends and family. She also enjoyed spending winters in Florida. Betty Ann will be forever remembered for her selflessness and the joy she brought to her loved ones.

Cremation has taken place. Friends are invited to join the family at the Patterson Funeral Home, 6062 Main St. Niagara Falls, for visitation on Saturday, October 19, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., followed by a Funeral Service at 2 p.m. The Rite of Committal will take place at Fairview Cemetery.
