STACEY, Karyn Margaret Stacey

Passed away on December 26, 2025, in Barrie, Ontario, at the age of 63. She leaves behind a family who loved her deeply and will carry her spirit forward every day.
Karyn shared 42 years with her devoted husband, Tim, and they would have celebrated 35 years of marriage this coming April—a partnership built on love, resilience, and deep friendship.

She was a fiercely proud and loving mother to Victoria (Rowan), RJ (Aurora), and Nicholas (Courtney), and a cherished step-mother to Ryan and Adam. Karyn was also the joyful grandmother to four beloved “grand-dogs”, Psylocke, Tiamutt, Moira, and Meesh.
She was a beloved honourary mother to Jafaar, among the many others she welcomed with open arms into her home with home-cooked meals and baked goods, Christmas stockings, and a game of Jeopardy. A treasured sister to Elaine (Eric), Karyn was also a devoted aunt and great-aunt to many nieces and nephews who will remember her warmth and generous heart.
Karyn is reunited in peace with those who went before her: her parents, Mary and Roy, and her brother, Michael.
Karyn treasured her time in the Dominican Republic, where she recently travelled with Tim, enamoured by the culture, community, and cruise ships. She was a devoted Blue Jays fan and enjoyed every moment of their recent 2025 World Series run alongside Tim and her family.
Karyn will be remembered for her incredible kindness, her love for her husband, and the immense pride she had for her children and their accomplishments.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to the friends and loved ones who have supported them through this time with kindness, generosity, and care.
