STPIERRE , Aime StPierre

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Aime StPierre on July 14, 2025, at the age of 82 at Hospice Simcoe in Barrie, Ontario. Aime was born on December 16, 1942, in St-Louise L’Islet, Quebec, to Maria Gamache and Raoul StPierre, and was the youngest of 17 brothers and sisters, all of whom have predeceased him.

He was a devoted husband to Linda (nee Brouse) and a loving father to Nicole (Barry), Danny (Angela), Donna (Cory), and Rod. Aime was predeceased by his son Michael. He was a beloved Paper to Kalleigh, Leithan, Ryan, Scott, Jamie, Mikey, and five great-grandchildren. He will also be deeply missed by Lucy (Gordie), Brenda, Rod, and many nieces and nephews.

Aime worked at INCO for 33 years, where he loved his job. After his time at INCO, he spent 10 years as an apartment building superintendent before transitioning to work as an instructor at NORCAT for many years. After retiring for good, Aime moved to Barrie, Ontario, to be closer to his family. He loved playing BINGO, scratch tickets, jigsaw puzzles, and spending time with his family.

Family, friends, and others who loved Aime are invited to the Lockerby Legion Branch 564 in Sudbury on Long Lake Road on Thursday, July 24th from 12-4 pm for his Celebration of Life.
